Hemp seeds pack a punch for pregnant and nursing mama's as they are great for Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids, calcium, magnesium, zinc and iron.
Berries are a great source of antioxidants, folate and fiber which will help keep you full longer and can help prevent serious diseases for both mother and baby.
Golden flax meal is also a great source of omega 3 fatty acids which many mothers are lacking unless they include fish into their diet regularly.
Coconut flakes are great for increasing your energy and immune system.
Oats are great for milk supply.
Ingredients:
¾-1 cup of plain 0% Greek yogurt
¾ tsp Super Sweet
½-1 TBSP of each:
Hemp seeds
Golden flax meal
Chia seeds
Oats
Pecans or any nut
Coconut shreds
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup berries (or ½ cup blueberries)
Instructions:
Add yogurt to bowl
Sprinkle with Super Sweet
Add Superfoods
Mix well
Top with berries
Enjoy!
Notes:
Add ¼-½ banana for xo or use plain non-fat yogurt (in place of greek).
